About Us
The Barns of Brighton grew from our love of bringing people together.
After moving to Brighton to embrace rural living, we set out to restore this beautiful property and create a place that reflects the things we enjoy most: good food, great wine, beautiful spaces, and sharing memorable experiences with family and friends.
Over the years, we've lovingly restored our circa 1900 farmhouse, Driveshed West, and the iconic 1920 Papa Barn, while carefully preserving the character and history that make the property so special. Every space has been thoughtfully designed to feel warm, welcoming, and effortlessly beautiful.
When we're not working on the property, you'll likely find us tending the gardens, planning our next project, gathering around a table with friends, or enjoying a glass of wine as the sun sets over the fields. Hospitality has always been a big part of our lives, and The Barns of Brighton is a natural extension of that.

Posted Jul 23, 2026 Karine and Norm welcomed us like family and were available for any questions we had. They took care of everything so we could spend our time just planning day trips to the beaches and nature walks of Presqu’ile. As a family. This was one of our best VRBO experiences and we would definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic place with exceptionally helpful, happy and accommodating hosts. The Barns is private, spacious, exceptionally clean, very well equipped and very handy for a visit to Presqu’ile park. Hosts Karine and Norm are very communicative, provide easy and complete instructions, check in and check out were extremely easy as was gaining entry to the accommodations. We enjoyed the tour of the other barns and gardens as well.
We highly recommend this place and would give it a higher rating if we could. This is a fantastic, peaceful and very well equipped BNB.

Beautifully renovated and decorated space completely separate from main house. Entire property was lovely. Pictures depict what it is actually like. Well stocked with great towels and a nice bbq, which we used, on the back porch which has a nice sitting area. Loved that we were very close to PEC (an easy drive) but in a quiet area. Karin

Karine and her husband Norm are wonderful hosts, from beginning to end. Karine was helpful with the tv setup. She has a real flare for decorating. The place was beautiful! We would highly recommend for two couples and will tell friends!Nothing. Everything was more than expected.
